A laser tag vest manufacturer approached Rayera to develop a thin, Fiber Optic clothing that would illuminate the front and back of the vest. For this application, the Rayera Woven Fiber Optic Panel is configured to use two (2) tri-color LEDs that can be programmed to illuminate multiple colors. This is to help differentiate specific team colors. It was also determined that the braided PMMA acrylic fibers could be configured to detect reverse"radio frequency beam"transmissions, which would Fiber Optic clothing  vest impacts. Customers ultimately chose our technology because of the increased durability of the Fiber Optic clothing mesh structure, as well as the LED light/RF transmission efficiency of the PMMA fiber bundles.
