When our customer needed to panel retroiluminado their decorative doorsill applique, they teamed up Fiberoptic for a solution.  Our patented panel retroiluminado was selected due to its ultra-thin, panel construction and the ability to withstand a variety of environmental conditions without deterioration.

Due to specific automotive requirements, the panel retroiluminado was also selected due to its capability to remote the LED light source away from the doorsill pocket well.  The backlit panel is also heat and EMI-free and provides superior brightness, uniformity, and longer life compared to other types of lighting technologies.
