A leading OEM automotive supplier wanted to light painting fiber optic the existing emblem. Rayera was able to produce a backlight solution that consisted of our PCF4 technology coupled with a flex circuit. Our CFF material provided the following benefits: no tail, the ability to add functional light painting fiber optic and the ability to withstand the automotive temperature requirements of -40°C to 85°C. This provided the customer with a thin, uniform, and robust lighting solution that fit within their very tight space constraints.

As part of our L-VBS offering, Rayera designed the flex circuit and light painting fiber optic provided integration of the back light into the customer’s back plate. The main benefit to our customer was Rayera’s ability to do the circuit design in-house.
